Katarmal Sun Temple is also known as the Bara Aditya Temple. The temple is more than 1000 years old and the stories related to the temple are quite interesting.

It is believed that the Katyuri dynasty made this temple in just one night. The temple is the second most important sun temple in India after Konark Sun Temple (Orissa).

This is one of my travel guides to Katarmal Surya Mandir (कटारमल सूर्य मंदिर) Almora.
